“Ipsun Power was extremely responsive from initial contact all the way to the end. I hired the firm to provide my company with a comprehensive shade analysis for real estate development project in Washington DC. The turnaround time and the quality of the report was impressive. I will surely hire them again and refer them to others.”

Israel Olugbuyi, Global Street Development

Ipsun solar designs solar energy systems in-house and we install our own systems. We can design a solar energy system for you, too. We have experience with architecture firms that need specialized design services. We also do pre-wiring for new construction.

As we have a systematic approach to our designs, we can also serve other solar companies with their design needs. Reach out to [email protected] to hear more about designs for your solar company and if this would work for you.

Ipsun Solar can help with your proposal. We can offer you the necessary technical information to have an accurate proposal. We can work with tight deadlines and can provide preliminary drafting work, work schedule, labor estimates and marketing material. We can strengthen your proposal and give you the confidence you need to submit a quality bid. We work on solar specific RFPs or on RFPs where solar is only a part of the bid.

Depending on the requirements, we can write a high-level proposal, or we can drill down into the details and recommend hardware for the solar panels, racking, the balance of system (BOS), inverter selection etc. If required, we can also provide detailed drawings of the solar system.

On the other hand, if you need to write an RFP and are not sure what to include, we can help you write the RFP. To avoid all conflict of interest, we can’t respond to that same RFP. We can help you set the technical requirements necessary for a well written RFP, and can help with the review and scoring of the RFP responses. We can do this on a purely consulting basis to give you the additional background information to make you comfortable with your informed decision.

A feasibility study results in a technical report with and analysis of the roof structure or land area where a potential solar system could be installed. The report includes detailed or high-level drawings, a structural evaluation with either a PE stamp or recommendations to obtain a PE stamp, a shading analysis with an estimated power production.

Ipsun Power has its own crew to build solar systems, both small and large. We have the capability to build in a 100 miles radius around Washington D.C. including Virginia and Maryland.

We can also provide the necessary tools and oversight to have a solar system build somewhere outside our area of operation.

We can execute, oversee or do third-party validation of the commissioning of a solar system.

We can make a full shading analysis of a project for various reasons. Some developers need to know exactly how much a solar system will produce to estimate the savings or SREC value of a system. Other developers need to work with rules of not affecting solar systems next to their projects. We can most likely work with your situation when a shading analysis is needed. For smaller projects, we have a turn-around time of just 1 week. Give us a call for a delivery estimate and a price specifically for your system.

Tracking your organization’s carbon footprint can have the following benefits:

  • Compliance – Prepare your business for Mandatory GHG Reporting & other legislation, meet supply chain requirements

Our assessments use industry best practice/standards such as the WRI/WBCSD Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol and ISO14064-1. They are also underpinned by the use of internationally recognized emissions factors databases, e.g. from Defra and EcoInvent, to give just two examples. Reports are available in formats suitable for Mandatory Greenhouse Gas Reporting and other compliance reporting needs.
The first step of any organisation’s sustainability/carbon management program is to gain an independent & thorough understanding of its current green-house gas (GHG) emissions. Our carbon footprint analysis for your business provides you with a comprehensive assessment, identifying current major emission sources and opportunities for savings in the future. Depending on your business’s profile, you may also be able to get funding towards your program.
